How to write a cheque correctly
- Write the amount in words on the long line, then add "Only" at the end so nothing can be added after it.
- Write the same amount in figures inside the box on the right.
- For paise or cents, include them in both places (for example "and Fifty Paise" / "50/100").
- Avoid gaps — draw a line through any empty space after the words.
Why a tool, not an answer box. The hard part isn't the words — it's seeing them in the right place on the cheque. That layout is the whole reason this page exists.
