Reading the result
For $1,500.50 the converter gives "One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars and 50/100". On most checks the word "Dollars" is preprinted at the end of the line, so you write the words and the "and 50/100" up to it, then draw a line to fill the gap. For a whole amount it reads "and 00/100".
